Welcome to South Florida Fascia – Where Healing Begins at the Deepest Level

At South Florida Fascia, we believe true healing starts beneath the surface. Fascia, the connective tissue that weaves through your entire body, holds onto tension, trauma, and patterns of movement—often without us realizing it.

Through myofascial release and partnered fascia work, we help clients unravel deep-seated restrictions, restoring balance, mobility, and vitality.

Our approach is both scientific and intuitive. With years of experience in bodywork and trauma-informed healing, we understand that physical pain is often intertwined with emotional and energetic blockages. Whether you're seeking relief from chronic pain, recovering from injury, looking for a body based approach to depression/anxiety/c-ptsd, or simply longing to feel more at home in your body, South Florida Fascia offers a transformative experience. Our sessions aren’t just about relaxation—they’re about realigning you with your fullest potential.

Healing is a journey. Let’s take the first step together.

Meet our Founder
Rachel Benaim-Abudarham

Rachel’s journey into fascia therapy began as a personal quest to reconnect with her body and mind. After years of struggling with body dysmorphia, anxiety, and the lingering effects of complex trauma, she sought a way to feel at home in herself again. Beginning during the pandemic, she found that consistent fascia work through @HumanGarage helped her regulate her nervous system, improve her sleep, and open her up to embodiment that she hadn't previously known.

Inspired by her own transformation, Rachel trained in myofascial release and fascia energy work with Maria Alfieris at @MagicalHandsPhysicalTherapy. Her approach-- a form of osteo-informed bodywork-- blends a deep understanding of fascia with intuition, energy work, and scientific knowledge, honoring the body’s innate wisdom and capacity for healing.

Beyond hands-on practice, Rachel brings an academic depth to her work. She holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University and completed a certificate in Spiritual Resilience in a Fractured World at New York University, exploring how trauma and healing shape individuals and communities. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Trauma Studies at Florida Atlantic University, Rachel’s research focuses on collective trauma and its intergenerational impact—insights she integrates directly into her fascia practice.

At the core of Rachel’s work is a commitment to helping clients release tension, reconnect with their bodies, and cultivate deep, lasting well-being. With an intuitive, trauma-informed approach, she meets each client where they are, guiding them toward balance—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
